Class is held at the Lanham Skate Center,
9901 Lanham Severn Rd, Lanham, MD.
- Please stay home if you feel ill.
- Please complete your drop-in payment well before class so we can get started on time.
- Dress casually in comfortable clothes. You must carry in your dance shoes; shoes worn outside are not allowed on the dance floor. See additional information below.
- Classes start at 7:30 pm. You may arrive as early as 7:00 pm.
- Please be ready to go to the floor at 7:30 pm.
The front parking lot may be full when you arrive. There is additional parking available on the left side of the building.
When arriving before 7:30, enter through the front entrance and
look for the Odyssey signage to your left in the concession area. Check-in at the Odyssey reception table.
*Arriving after 7:30, use the left side entrance (as you face the building)
, as the front door may be locked.Prior to arrival - if you haven't already:- Dance shoes are not required but are recommended. Heavy cotton socks or slip-over shoe covers are a suitable alternative. We sell both in class for $5.
*You must carry in the shoes you intend to dance in! Shoes worn outside are not allowed on the dance floor.

- Bring water. It is important to stay hydrated.
- No need to bring a partner. Students will rotate with each other to ensure everyone has a chance to dance with a partner.
